Working with the Supervisor or Logistics and the Team Lead, the  Shipper/Receiver will be responsible for ensuring accurate and seamless incoming and outgoing shipments between The Shipper/Receiver must be able to plan load, load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive HEAVY lifting, and use any necessary equipment. The Shipper/Receiver must understand the impact of this position to other team members and business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of incoming/outgoing items.

DUTIES:
• Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift (occasionally) or other power equipment.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
• Operate the forklift machine is an asset.
• Match product with shipping orders.
• Unloading inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Efficiently move product from storage areas into trailers or containers.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Manually loads trucks with co-workers.
• Cuts and preps both commercial and residential weather strip.
• Assist in wrapping door panels and product manually and using an orbital wrapping machine.
• Assist in loading bulk trucks with box or flat bed.
• Services customer pick-ups and in a timely manner, showing courtesy and politeness.
• Picks residential and commercial components to prep according to work orders.
• On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS, ABILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.
• Must also be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to use proper technique to lift 50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must perform work in non-climate controlled manufacturing facility
• Extended time on feet and walking
• Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination for operation of hand/power tools
• Frequent, bending, walking carrying and lifting. Lifting up to 50lbs regularly throughout the day.

Wages: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
