Centre for Skills offers specialized language training for newcomers preparing to enter the Canadian workplace. This 12-week on-line course is designed to improve English language skills and prepare students to find and sustain a job in Canada.

Eligibility

  • Must have a valid and up to date CLB skill level assessment 4/5 + 
    (if you do not have this, we can book an assessment for you)
  • Adult immigrants (18+) who are residents of Ontario
  • Permanent residents and convention refugees

Program Details

  • Enhanced Language Training is a full time, 12-week program for Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees. 
  • Our ELT program is considered to be a ‘full-time’ commitment to assist students who are ready to find a job. In order to complete all required assignments and activities successfully, we do not advise taking other courses or working during your daytime or evening course hours.”
  • For all our online classes, learners are expected to use a computer or laptop with a functional camera turned on during class.
