Sales Expediter 

Permanent, Full-time 

JOB SUMMARY: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expediter to join our dynamic team. The Sales Expeditor is responsible for ensuring all sales orders are processed properly for shipping, including all paperwork, batch tracking information, and scheduling. They are also responsible for coordinating with purchasing and manufacturing on delivery dates, and inventory control. This position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various departments. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Monitor all sales orders and process them for shipping, as well as all backorders 
  • Process all shipping documents such as bills of lading, labels, and batch tracking reports and provide them to shipping operators 
  • Match up all shipping documents after orders have shipped, post information in DASH/DDX 
  • Facilitate daily cycle counts and coordinate with the shipping department. Investigate any inventory discrepancies as needed 
  • Following up with manufacturing and purchasing on upcoming sales due dates to ensure we are meeting customer expectations 
  • Input data into the shipping calendar based on feedback from purchasing/manufacturing 
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITITES: 
  • Assist in answering incoming phone calls and routing them to the correct department. 
  • Process returns authorizations. 
  • Serve as the link between sales, manufacturing, purchasing and shipping 
  • Assist the Operations Manager and Sales Manager with projects as needed 
  • Potential to get forklift certified

  • Ability to help in a manufacturing environment 
  • Ability to work as part of a team 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred 
  • Experience in administration an asset 
  • Experience in inventory/logistics or planning an asset 

Expected hours: 40 per week
