Position Overview:
As an Automotive Mechanic you must be able to analyze, dissemble, align, reassemble, and adjust mechanical equipment to maintain it in an efficient operating condition.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicles’ maintenance and repairs as assigned
- Diagnose the source of any issues and perform repair
- Examine vehicles to determine if any additional service is required
- Perform driving tests if require
- Install mechanical and electrical components and systems
- Work in a safe and efficient manner to meet production targets
- Daily cleaning of the working spot
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years prior experience working as an automotive technician/mechanic preferred
- Experience working on all makes and models an asset
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing an asset
- Ability and willingness to work overtime when required an asset
- Must have a clean criminal record
- Ability to communicate in English is an asset
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
