Job Purpose:
Assemble cables/Mechanical assemblies according to the assembly instructions provided.

Production Duties:
Installation of Mechanical components using tools provided
Understanding of torquing requirements
Crimp contacts onto wire using hand crimper or pneumatic tool as specified, as needed
Assemble cables according to schematics/ assembly instructions
Work as a team to assist other technicians when required.
Other related duties as required or assigned.
May involve some heavy lifting as required.
Skills/Qualifications (preferred but not required):
Crimping, Soldering, Stripping and Cutting Cable
Mechanical Aptitude
Problem-solving skills (i.e. identify problem causes; determine steps to resolve; assess solution)
Communicate clearly, strong listening skills and ability to follow instructions

Educational/Experience Requirements: 
High School diploma
Electronics Technology background and education an asset.
Suitable job related experience
Training provided including IPC training
