Responsibilities: 

· Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products 
· Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly 
· Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to perform assembly tasks
· Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machine 
· Perform basic machining and welding operations as required 
· Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs 
· Operate forklift to transport or position larger parts 
· Inspect finished products for proper functioning, quality and adherence to specifications 
· Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning 
· Make minor adjustments and repairs 
· Receive and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist 
· Pick, Pack and ship orders accurately 
· Document work completed 
· Maintain a clean and organized work area 

Work conditions and physical capabilities: 

· Mechanical knowledge and aptitude 
· Manual dexterity and Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments 
· Experience with soldering, machining, welding, or other related skills is a plus 
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately 
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team 
· Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred 
· Handling heavy loads

Schedule: 

• 8 hour shift 
  Monday to Friday 

Ability to commute/relocate: 

• Oakville, ON L6L 5V3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
