Job Description
Do you enjoy accounting tasks, helping a company run smoothly, by managing cash influx and collecting payments from clients? Are you a meticulous and skilled financial specialist? If so, we’re searching for someone to join our Finance Team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on +me, and on good terms with our valued partners. Education, Skills & Experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Willing to learn and be proactive in completing tasks
• Collaborative and positive attitude
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Experience using ERP system an asset
• Friendly, with strong communication skills
• Hardworking, accountable, collaborative, but can also work independently
• Impressive attention to detail
• A great attitude in the workplace 
• Accounting degree is an asset
Responsibilities
• Ensure timely billing to customers in Netsuite ERP system
• Work closely with Operations and Shipping to ensure readiness of customer orders and timely shipment
• Proactively work with customers to receive payments
• Work with other finance team members to complete month end accounting tasks
• Support other finance and accounting tasks as needed
• Respond to email and/or phone inquiries from customers as needed.
• Apply cheques and EFT payments to customer accounts
• Communicate with clients regarding billing issues or inquiries, following up with past due payments
