Overall Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibilities of showroom account executive in a professional and courteous manner.
Duties:
- Manage client accounts and events through liaison with Operations to ensure client needs are met, their expectations are exceeded, and the company's profitability is protected and maximized.
- Field incoming calls and emails from potential customers, responding quickly and effectively.
- Prepare customer proposals, sales letters, presentations, layouts, drawings, job files, etc.
- Enter orders into the system, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with marketing and advertising efforts.
- Learn the rental products and gain experience with event and party aspects, which will evolve over time into other areas like tenting and tradeshow services.
- Contribute to projects as they arise, such as assisting in setting up and operating workshops
- Support team success, including but not limited to, building industry contacts and achieving sales goals.
- Support management run events and media collaborations
- Adhere to and support all Special Event Rentals policies and procedures.
- Comply with all applicable laws, such as labor law, highway traffic acts, criminal law, and environmental regulations, without exception.
- Required Software Proficiency: Gmail and Google related apps, Good Shuffle, Adobe Programs
Education, Skills/Experience Needed:
- Previous experience in sales (preferred).
- Previous event industry experience (preferred).
- Computer knowledge and skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Background in events/hospitality
