313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.52-$65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 44 per week

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can read schematics and is proficient in various mechanical tasks related to air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning units, ensuring optimal performance.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and specifications.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for system repairs or installations.
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to ensure project completion within deadlines.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems.

Experience
- Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to plumb, weld, boil, build, and maintain various air conditioning systems.
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to HVAC equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
