One of the first steps with an Employment Specialist might involve career counseling and taking quizzes on The Government of Canada’s Job Bank. These career quizzes help narrow down roles or fields that align with your skills, interests, and preferred work activities.
Beyond job matching, the Job Bank also provides a personality quizzes by helping you identify your learning style and ideal work environments.
Creating an Action Plan
After completing these assessments, your Employment Specialist will review the results with you. Together, you'll build a step-by-step plan to explore your options, gain skills, and move forward confidently in your job search.
