COVID-19 Response

There Are Plenty of Jobs and Career Opportunities Waiting for You... But You Only Need to Find the One That’s Right for You!

Dec 07, 2021

The employment rate in Canada returned to pre-pandemic levels and the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) is finished for the most part. The good news is, there are plenty of jobs out there. Local companies are looking to hire full time or part time staff and many small businesses are having a hard time recruiting new employees.

“For workers reluctant to get back to the workforce, perhaps it’s not just about finding a job. It might just be about finding the right job.”

This pandemic gave people an opportunity to slow down and consider their career trajectory and what makes them happy. Employment rates may be returning to pre-pandemic levels, but there has been a shift. Many people are re-focusing and re-evaluating before returning to the workforce.

If you are reluctant, been out of work for too long, don’t want to go back to the same old job or feel like you are not yet ready, perhaps now is the right time to consider how you to approach your return to the workforce, how to go about looking for a job and where you would like your career to take you. It is never too late to begin preparing for that future job. In this vast economy of full time, part time, gig or seasonal jobs it is hard to run out of options. You just need to know where you want your career to go and be ready for when the right option presents itself.
