Our Get in Gear ladies learned how to dress for success yesterday, learning tips from special guest Lisa Boyce, of MonahLisa Styles Image/Fashion Consulting Agency.
"First impressions are a big deal, and wearing professional attire can help shape the way you will be perceived," says Lisa. "In situations like a job interview or promotion, it's important to elevate your attire."
The Get in Gear ladies were able to try on several accessories, with different tops, ties, and various accessories scattered around the room. Lisa let the students know when talking in terms of 'professional wear' to not just think of a full suit get up, but even an accessory or two can change the way an outfit can be perceived. "Sometimes something as simple as a nice vibrant scarf can really liven up an outfit."
