Celebrating Success - 2019

Nov 15, 2019

We had a wonderful evening last night celebrating the achievements of our clients and students at our 2019 Celebrating Success event. We listened to some great stories from our ‘Stars’ who shared in their own words what their journey towards success has meant for them and celebrated the achievements of our Women in Skilled Trades: Enhanced General Carpentry graduates and scholarship recipient winners.

A special thank you to City of Burlington Marianne Meed Ward, City of Burlington Councillors Shawna Stolte and Lisa Kearns, Jamie Rees (on behalf of Burlington MP Karina Gould), Burlington MPP Jane McKenna, and Mark Henson (on behalf of Oakville North-Burlington MPP Effie Triantafilopoulos) for participating in last night’s event, as well as the funders, partners, clients and Centre for Skills Board members who joined us in celebration of another fantastic year.

We also sincerely thank the Residential Framing Contractor’s Association (RFCA), the Residential Construction Council of Ontario (RESCON) and Halton Industry Education Council (HIEC) for being our generous providers of our Women in Skilled Trades scholarships.

To our staff; the successes of our clients and students are a direct result of your expertise, dedication, leadership and commitment to service and lifelong learning that we all share. Thank you. #CelebratingSuccess #TheCentre
