Canadian Citizenship Application Process and Overview

This free info session will provide you with an opportunity to understand the online and paper application form process and the checklist of documents required to apply. We’ll discuss eligibility for Canadian Citizenship and show you how to use your online physical presence calculator as a requirement to apply for Canadian Citizenship. You’ll also learn about Canadian Citizenship responsibilities and the rights of Canadian Citizens. We will practice some citizenship test questions and go over the steps to prepare you from the time you apply for citizenship until the time you are invited to take your Oath. You’ll learn about the Ceremony and Oath of Citizenship and how to apply for a Canadian Passport. *Please complete the registration form and we will contact you with details.

Permanent Resident Card Renewal and Application

This free session will provide you an opportunity to understand the application forms and the checklist of documents required to apply for renewal of Permanent Resident card, will discuss eligibility and how to maintain your immigration status in Canada as Permanent Residents. In addition, you will learn how to calculate your physical presence in Canada. Eligibility: Permanent Resident, Convention Refugee. Register in advance for this meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Intermediate MS Word

This session is for those who want to increase their skills at using MS Word. Join instructor Carmine Ciriello, owner of the company Analyze and Improve, for this interactive session. You will learn such skills as: Inserting page breaks/pictures/tables/headers/footers, how to review spelling/grammar/comments and track changes. Having access to Word on your computer is useful as this tutorial is meant to be interactive. If English is not your first Language you must be at CLB Level 4/5+ to attend. Registration is limited to 15 participants.
