Eligibility Criteria

  • Adult immigrants (18+)
  • Residents of Ontario and able to commute to Burlington for in-person training.
  • Naturalized Canadian citizens, permanent residents, convention refugees or refugee claimants.
  • VISA Permit holders admitted under a federal caregiver program with a pathway to permanent residency.
  • Canadian Language Benchmark certification (CLB) Level 4+.

Location

  • Program is held in-person and on-line. 
  • 6 weeks online through Zoom. For the online portion of the program, learners are expected to use a computer or laptop with a functional camera turned on during class.
  • 2 weeks in person at 3335 North Service Road, Burlington ON L7N 3M6

Program Details

  • Start date October 26, 2026.
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
  • Hybrid: 6 weeks online, 2 weeks in person.
