This free 8-week program is available to newcomers who are interested in pursuing skilled trades careers in the construction sector in Ontario.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Adult immigrants (18+) who are residents of Ontario
  • Naturalized Canadian citizens, permanent residents, convention refugees or refugee claimants
  • VISA Permit holders admitted under a federal caregiver program with a pathway to permanent residency
  • Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 4+

Location

  • Program is held in-person and on-line. 
  • 6 weeks online through Zoom. For the online portion of the program, learners are expected to use a computer or laptop with a functional camera turned on during class.
  • 2 weeks in person at 3335 North Service Road, Burlington ON L7N 3M6

Program Details

  • May 26 to  July 21, 2025
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
  • Hybrid: 6 weeks online, 2 weeks in person
