Pay: $50,000 per year (flexible depending on skills and experience)

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals 
  • Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics 
  • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations 
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
  • Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, get processes, and shipping
  • To carry out any other tasks which may be reasonably expected for the promotion and support of our business 
  • Any other such duties as may be determined by your reporting Manager

Position Requirements: 

  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls 
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
  • Ability to operate a forklift effectively 
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Demonstrates leadership and people management skills including the ability to effectively coach and mentor employees at all levels
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, provide accurate reporting, and utilize data 
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED 
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse lead role managing hourly employees 
  • Functional knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation 
  • Intermediate computer skills of all MS Office applications 
  • Valid forklift license
