Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to established safety practices and warehouse procedures.
  • Complete systematic clerical work through ERP system to support accurate warehouse inventory records, including receiving, transfers, location changes, inventory movements, and material availability.
  • Ensure warehouse transactions and supporting documentation are completed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with ERP system requirements.
  • Print and prepare required labels, worksheets, picking documents, receiving documents, and other materials needed by the Picking and Receiving teams.
  • Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations by preparing documentation, verifying ERP system records, recording results, identifying discrepancies, and escalating corrections as required.
  • Investigate missing print, receiving discrepancies, damaged goods, location issues, ERP system/order setup concerns, and other inventory-related issues.
  • Act as a first line of email communication for warehouse-related inquiries from other departments and escalate issues when required.
  • Support material flow between warehouse functional areas by ensuring related paperwork, labels, and system records are prepared and accurate.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records, including receiving documents, transfer paperwork, labels, worksheets, and other supporting materials.
  • Clean and tidy the desk/workstation area as required to maintain an organized and safe work environment.
  • Assist with warehouse floor activities, inventory handling, and material movement when operational needs require.
  • Participate in company initiatives, meetings, inventory projects, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader, Manager, or designate.

  Requirements/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or inventory environment required.
  • Previous experience working with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems is considered an asset.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Business Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with system transactions, inventory records, labels, and warehouse documentation.
  • Excellent written, electronic, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize information clearly and maintain accurate digital and physical records.
  • Ability to investigate discrepancies, ask appropriate questions, and escalate issues when required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive requests.
  • Ability to work well with others and collaborate in a team atmosphere.
  • Forklift certification is considered an asset; training may be provided.
  • Must be willing to work additional hours or overtime as business needs require.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
