Join our team as a Structural Welder and play a key role in fabricating and assembling high-quality structural components for industrial refrigeration systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll perform MIG and flux core welding, operate hoisting and rigging equipment, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates bring experience in structural welding and rigging, can read technical drawings, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced shop environment.
We currently operate two shifts:
- Days: Monday–Thursday 6:00am–3:00pm & Fridays 6:00am–12:00pm
- Afternoons: Monday–Thursday 2:45pm–1:15am
This is a full-time, unionized role based out of Burlington, ON.

What You’ll Do:
- Perform structural welding on carbon steel and steel components using MIG and/or flux core techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
- Identify and correct faults in weldments.
- Safely operate hoisting and rigging equipment to move and position heavy materials.
- Assemble structural components according to engineering plans.
- Inspect welds and assemblies for quality and compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment as needed.
What You Bring:
- Proven structural welding experience.
- Experience with hoisting and rigging operations.
- Familiarity with structural assembly and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
- Ability to examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and PPE requirements.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a unionized environment.
