Job Brief
Our company is looking for Sanitation Associates to join us. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant work environment to support daily production operations.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize machines
- Sweep and mop floors
- Wash all containers for production
- Maintain cleanliness of coolers
- Dispose of garbage and waste
- Clean inside and outside of compactor
- Clean windows and doors
- Clean all washrooms and change rooms in the facility
- Report daily activity results and discrepancies to senior management
- Report any unsafe conditions
- Other duties assigned
- Always keep work area clean and tidy
- Always wear proper PPE, as required
- Always work safely and in compliance to GMP rules
Job Terms
- Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 – 44 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need
- Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer
- Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6
- Shift Requirement: Must be available from Sunday to Friday to fit business needs
- Sanitation Night: 9:00pm – 5:30am
- Compensation: $18.60 per hour
- Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time
Requirements
- Be able to work in a cold & wet work environment
- Have previous related experience
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge in the food service industry, preferably the produce sector
