Job Brief

Our company is looking for Sanitation Associates to join us. The successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and food-compliant work environment to support daily production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize machines
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Wash all containers for production
  • Maintain cleanliness of coolers
  • Dispose of garbage and waste
  • Clean inside and outside of compactor
  • Clean windows and doors
  • Clean all washrooms and change rooms in the facility
  • Report daily activity results and discrepancies to senior management
  • Report any unsafe conditions
  • Other duties assigned
  • Always keep work area clean and tidy
  • Always wear proper PPE, as required
  • Always work safely and in compliance to GMP rules

Job Terms

  • Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 – 44 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need
  • Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer
  • Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6
  • Shift Requirement: Must be available from Sunday to Friday to fit business needs
    • Sanitation Night: 9:00pm – 5:30am
  • Compensation: $18.60 per hour
  • Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time

Requirements

  • Be able to work in a cold & wet work environment
  • Have previous related experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Knowledge in the food service industry, preferably the produce sector
