Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting all daily activities of the production operation. Starting with the receipt of an order the coordinator creates all the required paperwork and sets orders up in all systems to support the production process. Throughout the process all paperwork, systems updates, and reports are executed with timeliness and accuracy.
Communication is a critical part of this role, and the Coordinator communicates required information to management, outside service vendors, supervisors and other team members through performance reports, documentation and other means.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Create all related documentation required for Production; Production Books, Production Forms etc.
- Processes Orders to start Production.
- Review and maintain production books throughout build to ensure all documentation is current as processed through the shop.
- Collect and review production data from the floor and review data collection to ensure correct reporting from floor personnel. Update all system data according.
- Update systems as required to ensure accurate communication throughout the company.
- Maintain the production schedule with regular updates including all client communication as it pertains to the project build with the Production Manager.
- Communicates schedule data with all department supervisors and management. Updates and adjusts Orders within system (Access, MRP) to current department.
- Data entry of Paint and Raw Material usage sheets.
- Scans files for completed Orders as needed. (Current Year/Previous Year)
- Compile hard copy files for Material Allocations/Adjustments for Orders in Production.
- Communicate with subcontractors and vendors for outside services, track order status and location, make final delivery arrangements. Report any deviations from original planned with Production Manager.
- Communicate with Customers to ensure Just in Time delivery of truck chassis, notify production team of delays.
- Critical administrative functions including timecard data entry and time ticket review.
- File all documents and maintain an organized production office.
- Initiate Engineering Change Request.

Job Knowledge or Work Experience:
- Proven experience in customer service
- Proven experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of MRP systems preferred
- College diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
- Courses related to scheduling would be an asset
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
