Join our team as a Pressure Vessel Engineer and play a critical role in designing and supporting the fabrication of high-performance pressure vessels for industrial refrigeration systems. In this full-time role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce ASME-compliant designs, develop fabrication drawings, and troubleshoot production challenges. Ideal candidates are licensed or pursuing P.Eng. status, have 7+ years of experience in pressure vessel design, and are confident working with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Codeware COMPRESS.
This is a full-time role based out of Burlington, ON, reporting to the Manufacturing Group.

What You’ll Do:
- Produce mechanical design calculations for pressure vessels.
- Ensure designs comply with ASME Section VIII Division 1, CSA B51/B52, and client specifications.
- Review and approve team deliverables for code compliance.
- Develop fabrication drawings, weld maps, and BOMs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Authenticate engineering drawings as required.
- Complete design registration documentation across Canadian jurisdictions.
- Support production teams in resolving design and fabrication issues.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Select appropriate welding procedures based on design requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality Control and other internal departments.
What You Bring:
- Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (P.Eng. or actively pursuing registration).
- 7+ years of experience in pressure vessel design and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div. 1, ASME Sec IX, CSA, API, and NACE codes.
- Experience with Codeware COMPRESS is an asset.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and BIM360.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
