Rate of pay: $20–$24/hr
A Panel Builder is responsible for layout, assembly, and wiring of electrical control panels. The panels built are to be mounted to new and/or existing machines around the world. Spark Power is seeking an individual who has great attention to detail, is a continual team player, and can work in a fast-paced environment for a progressive organization.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Laying out panel back plates
- Drilling and cutting holes for electrical devices
- Mounting and wiring of electrical devices
- Attending required team meetings and Safety Training Meetings
- Attending required training/professional development sessions
- Committing material on Work Orders
- Communicating with supervisors for work instructions
- Controlling inventory in/out of stock (for active jobs)
- Completing Timesheets
- Gathering required material
- Keeping shop stocked with proper tools and materials
- Maintaining Corporate Health & Safety Standards
- Maintaining Work Order accuracy
- Performing field work/installations
- Responsible for ensuring the work area is clean
- Scanning or signing materials in/out of inventory
- Successfully completing all required learning activities
- Tracking of materials
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to read electrical schematics (would be an asset)
