About SpacePointe:
SpacePointe is a global fintech company focused on enabling seamless commerce across emerging and developed markets. We are currently enabled in 16 countries, building the infrastructure that allows businesses to transact, scale, and operate across borders with confidence.

Our work sits at the intersection of payments, financial operations, and system-driven execution. We are not a passive organization—we build, we execute, and we expect ownership at every level.

This is a high-accountability environment where strong performers grow quickly, and weak execution is not tolerated.

Role Overview:
We are hiring a Merchant Onboarding Analyst to own and execute the end-to-end onboarding process for merchants.

This is not an administrative role. This is an operations role requiring strong thinking, ownership, and follow-through. You will be responsible for ensuring that merchants are onboarded accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with internal and external requirements. You will work across systems, documentation, and stakeholders to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end merchant onboarding process from intake to activation
  • Review, validate, and process onboarding documentation (KYC, business details, compliance requirements)
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness across internal systems
  • Coordinate across internal teams to move onboarding forward without delays
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks and proactively resolve them
  • Maintain structured tracking of onboarding status and timelines
  • Escalate issues early with clear context and proposed solutions
  • Continuously improve onboarding workflows and operational efficiency

What We Are Looking For:

Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to catch what others miss
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ownership (school leadership, work experience, or equivalent)
  • Fast learner with the ability to understand systems and processes quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in operations, onboarding, compliance, or fintech/payments
  • Experience working with structured systems (CRM, ERP, or onboarding tools)
  • Background in business, finance, or related fields

What Will Not Work in This Role:

  • Missed deadlines or lack of follow-through
  • Poor attention to detail
  • Passive communication or waiting to be told what to do
  • Inability to manage multiple priorities
  • Treating this as a “task-based” job instead of owning outcomes

If you are looking for a low-responsibility or loosely structured role, this will not be a fit.

Growth Opportunity:

This role is designed for individuals who want to grow into:

  • Operations Lead
  • Process Owner
  • Cross-functional Operations Roles within a global fintech environment

Strong performers will be given increased responsibility and exposure quickly.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, in-office role (Mississauga)
  • High-performance, execution-focused culture
  • Direct exposure to leadership and decision-making

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $55,000 – $60,000 CAD
  • Performance-based growth tied to execution and ownership

Additional Information:

  • This role follows standard Canadian employment structures, including statutory programs such as CPP and EI
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada
