ABOUT THE ROLE

GS CNC Solutions is a precision machining company specializing in custom machining, CNC manufacturing, industrial repairs, refurbishment, and reverse engineering. We are looking for a Manual Machinist who can independently operate conventional machining equipment and produce precision components.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other conventional machines.
  • Manufacture, repair, and refurbish mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Perform turning, milling, drilling, boring, threading, and precision fitting.
  • Use measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and support equipment repairs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of manual machining experience preferred.
  • Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
  • Experience working with precision machining tools and equipment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a machining environment.

ADDITIONAL ASSETS

  • Welding or fitting experience.
  • Industrial equipment repair/maintenance experience.
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience.

Please note: While candidates with 3+ years of manual machining experience are preferred, individuals with relevant machining education, completion of a pre-apprenticeship machining program, recent General Machinist/CNC training, or hands-on experience with conventional machining equipment are also encouraged to apply.
