ABOUT THE ROLE
GS CNC Solutions is a precision machining company specializing in custom machining, CNC manufacturing, industrial repairs, refurbishment, and reverse engineering. We are looking for a Manual Machinist who can independently operate conventional machining equipment and produce precision components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other conventional machines.
- Manufacture, repair, and refurbish mechanical components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Perform turning, milling, drilling, boring, threading, and precision fitting.
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support equipment repairs.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of manual machining experience preferred.
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
- Experience working with precision machining tools and equipment.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a machining environment.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS
- Welding or fitting experience.
- Industrial equipment repair/maintenance experience.
- Forklift or overhead crane experience.
