Full job description
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to perform assembly tasks –
- Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machine
- Perform basic machining and welding operations as required
- Troubleshoot, perform corrective action or minor repairs
- Operate forklift to transport or position larger parts
- Inspect finished products for proper functioning, quality and adherence to specifications
- Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
- Make minor adjustments and repairs
- Receive and transport material to work area manually or using crane or hoist
- Pick, Pack and ship orders accurately
- Document work completed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Manual dexterity and Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
- Experience with soldering, machining, welding, or other related skills is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred
- Handling heavy loads

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
