Landscape Crew Leader / Team Lead (Milton – Mississauga – Brampton – Oakville Area) – Short Term Work (2-3 weeks)

Pay: CA$21.00-CA$30.00 per hour

Company is located in Milton, Ontario, but we work all over the Halton and Peel region.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee our
landscaping projects and ensure the highest quality of work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticulture, along with proven leadership skills. This role involves supervising a team of landscapers, coordinating daily tasks, and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our clients’ properties.

Minimum 3 years of solid experience

Duties:

  • Lead and supervise a team of landscaping professionals in various projects including
    landscape maintenance, lawn care, and tree care.
  • Plan and execute landscaping designs while ensuring adherence to project timelines
    and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations
    and quality expectations.
  • Train team members on proper landscaping techniques, equipment usage, and safety
    protocols.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide expert
    recommendations.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, performing necessary repairs or
    coordinating maintenance as needed.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including gardening, horticulture.
  • Proven experience in supervising teams with effective leadership qualities.
  • Familiarity with construction techniques related to landscaping projects.
  • Ability to perform tree care tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
  • A strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
