J.H. Gelbloom Surveying Ltd. is a well-established legal surveying firm located in Oakville, Ontario. Serving the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and the
Niagara Region, the company specializes in providing expert assistance in all matters related to re-establishing, marking, and defining land boundaries.

J.H.G is seeking a motivated and skilled Land Survey Technician to join their field team. This role suited for individuals with hands-on experience in land,
topographic and engineering surveys. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable and thrives in outdoor work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Assist surveyors in conducting legal, topographic, and engineering surveys.

·       Maintain systematic records of survey measurements and information.

·       Operate and set up survey equipment as directed.

·       Support the development of procedures and methods for field data collection.

·       Interpret plans and assist with preparing drawings and documentation related to land development and construction projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Secondary school graduation certificate required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 2
    years in a related surveying role.

    • Topographic and
      engineering surveys

  • Valid driver’s licence (travel to work sites required)
