Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Technician Floater to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and can respond to on-call requests. The technician will perform specialized cleaning services such as strip & wax, window cleaning, and carpet cleaning, and will also be responsible for basic repair and maintenance of janitorial
equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Valid G-Class driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Experience in janitorial/cleaning services (strip & wax, window cleaning, carpet cleaning).
- Perform on-call cleaning services across multiple client sites.
- Complete strip & wax, buffing, carpet extraction, high dusting, and window cleaning.
- Repair janitorial equipment (vacuum, auto scrubber, extractor, etc.).
- Travel to locations using a company vehicle.
- Maintain equipment in clean, functional condition.
- Follow safety protocols and company standards.
- Communicate with supervisors and clients professionally.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, including the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and janitorial skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for success in this role.
