Inventory Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our team. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our inventory management system. This role is crucial in supporting our operations and ensuring that products are available when needed. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies with the inventory management system.
• Organize and maintain the storage area for easy access and efficient use of space.
• Process incoming shipments, including verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, including slow-moving items and stock shortages.
• Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast inventory needs based on demand.
• Implement best practices for inventory control to minimize waste and loss.
• Assist in training new staff on inventory procedures and systems.
• Speaking Mandarin is a must/speaking Cantonese is a plus

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
• Problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions promptly.
• Experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
