General Warehouse Associate

Monday to Friday, 3:00pm-12:00am (flexible)
Full-Time, Permanent, Expected hours: 40 per week
Wage: $18.50 per hour
Location: 1-5295 John Lucas Dr, Burlington, ON L7L 6A8

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with co-packing
• Assist at the end of the pouching line to collect, bundle and box completed pouches
• Assist in general warehouse duties: general facility maintenance and cleaning, shipping and receiving
• Learn and assist with machine operation with the intention of being able to operate them in the future
• Form boxes, pack products, put boxes on pallets and finalize orders for shipment
• Assist with general warehouse duties, using equipment to move pallets and materials
• Complete all co-packing duties, including but not limited to, opening pouches, filling, mixing product, packing boxes, labelling
• Complete sanitation practices on machines
• Operate valving machine, applying valves to completed pouches
• All other duties as requested

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift License or ability to get one before work commencement
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced
  environment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations
• Work in an SQF-rated facility, wearing a lab coat, hairnet, mask and gloves, when required
• Stand for long periods of time, assisting with assembly-line work
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Display a keen eye for detail, watching for quality issues on completed products
• Work at a speed that maintains our daily quota, while maintaining superior quality
