Food Service Helper/Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Food Service Helper / Kitchen Assistant to join our mobile food trailer team. The role includes helping with food preparation, customer service, order packing, cleaning, and daily kitchen operations. This is a good opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and comfortable working in a small, fast-paced food service environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help with basic food preparation and assembling menu items
• Assist with frying and cooking tasks when required
• Take customer orders and serve customers in a friendly and respectful manner
• Pack orders properly for customers
• Restock supplies, boxes, and ingredients during service
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed
• Clean and sanitize work areas regularly
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Support daily opening, closing, and general food trailer operations

Basic Skills Required:

• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a small team
• Basic communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a compact mobile kitchen/trailer environment
• Able to stand during shifts and work in a busy food service setting
• Respectful attitude toward customers and team members

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in a restaurant, pizza shop, fast-food business, food truck, or kitchen environment is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided.

Training Provided:

Training will be provided in food preparation, safe food handling, fryer safety, customer service, order taking, packing orders, portion control, cleaning and sanitizing procedures, inventory support, and daily food trailer operations.

Other Requirements:

Food Handler Certificate is preferred but not required. Candidate must be willing to follow food safety rules and maintain cleanliness at all times.
