We are seeking a motivated Multi Drop Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering cladding materials and related products to various job sites and clients. Your energetic approach will ensure timely deliveries, excellent customer service, and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for multiple daily deliveries of cladding materials
- Load, secure, and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Navigate routes efficiently, ensuring timely delivery schedules are met while maintaining safety protocols
- Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting shipments and obtaining necessary signatures or documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status or any issues encountered
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and reports in compliance with company policies
- Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery used in freight handling
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations in transportation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts and perform basic automotive repairs when needed
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, and perform manual tasks comfortably
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred but not mandatory
