Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Technician with an aptitude for mechanics. As an integral part of the operations support team, the technician will be reporting to the Operations Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drain motor oil, change oil filter, wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
- Rectify issues and ensure proper functioning of vehicles by adjusting, repairing or replacing parts.
- Conduct routine maintenance work such as replacing fluids and lubricating parts to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Provide accurate and competitive estimates for repair or maintenance jobs, including cost, time and effort from suppliers.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition to ensure they are always ready for use.
- Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise technicians on good vehicle use to help them keep their vehicles in good condition.
- Keep logs on work and issues to maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Warehouse maintenance and vehicle swaps.
- Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles to maintain their appearance.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 Year Experience
- High School Diploma
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Required Mechanical background/experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving and diagnostic ability
