The technician team member and although the hours of work may vary to meet the objectives of the projects, our typical business hours of operation are 830am-5pm. We do require you to manage time appropriately to meet the project deadlines. Generally, as a technician, you will start your day at the office before heading to the site. You will attend the site within a marked company vehicle wearing A1 Security apparel and will communicate with the Client, and/or the General Contractor.

Responsibilities:
- Reads architectural drawings and scope of work documentation for the installation and service of applicable A1 Security Solutions
- Effectively communicate with Clients, Contractors, Vendors as required
- Deliver the highest level of professional customer service as possible.
- Works with the Sales Team, Project Managers, and Coordinator to implement applicable A1 Security Solution
- Bench tests/ pre-installation setup and configuration of systems
- Works in new construction and existing locations
- Can meet deadlines and can prioritize accordingly
- Willingly participates in professional development
- Always works safely
Skills and Requirements:
- The Technician must have a valid Ontario Drivers License and reliable transportation.
- The Technician must be proficient in oral and written communication for internal organization, clients, and vendors
- The Technician must complete all applicable safety training as required.
- The Technician should have post secondary Electronics and/or Electricity education/training; or equivalent experience
- The Technician should be proficient with MS Office, iOS products
- The Technician should enjoy working with technology
- CANASA Alarm Technician Certification is an asset
- An understanding of Information Technology is an asset
Salary: the starting compensation for the role is based on the proficiency and experience with security systems.
