Salary: 50k 

 Duties 

  • Processing incoming payments, invoicing, and client accounts, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping also assisting with credit-related tasks, such as processing applications and monitoring credit risk. 
  • Maintain and update customer profiles including setting up new customers and updating changes to their credit limits. 
  • Post customers’ payments to the Accounts Receivable Subledger and ensure that they match bank deposits on a daily basis. 
  • Approve, release, or hold orders based on customer’s payment history and/or credit limit. 
  • Support the branch controller and the corporate credit manager with ad-hoc requests. 

 Required Skills: 

  • Understanding of credit and collections and full business cycle – order to cash. 
  • Proven communicator and relationship-builder. 
  • Assertive, organized, and multi-tasker. 
  • Able to work independently and also someone who can follow directions well. 
  • Problem solver with solid negotiation skills. 
  • Brings a positive attitude to tackle any problem head on, demonstrating adaptability and patience. 
  • Understanding of credit insurance would be beneficial (but is not necessary).
