The Opportunity
We’re hiring a high-energy, ambitious Recruiter to join our team in Mississauga. This role features a 80/20 hybrid focus—80% high-volume candidate recruiting and 20% client development crossover (20% business development/sales)—giving you a 360-degree view of the staffing industry.
You won’t be doing this alone: you’ll work side-by-side with our President, receiving direct mentorship to master elite sourcing, candidate persuasion, and sales strategies. As you succeed, you’ll have a clear, fast track to specialize and step into a dedicated Lead Recruiter or Account Manager role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Source & Hunt Talent (80% Focus): Use advanced sourcing strategies, cold calling, social selling, and modern ATS/CRM search techniques to hunt, engage, and recruit top passive talent in tech, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
- Manage End-to-End Recruitment: Lead the candidate journey from first touch to interview prep, offer negotiation, and successful onboarding.
- Drive Business Opportunities (20% Focus): Learn the B2B side by prospecting new leads, conducting outreach, and assisting with client growth strategy alongside senior leadership.
- Learn Directly from Leadership: Shadow the Founder to pick up advanced deal-closing, negotiation, and account growth tactics.
- Data & Pipeline Management: Keep modern ATS and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Bullhorn, etc.) organized and up-to-date.
- Build Long-Term Networks: Maintain strong candidate relationships and participate in industry networking events and team outings.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on Recruitment/Sales Drive: Prior experience in recruitment, agency staffing, sales, or HR sourcing, with a proven track record of hitting targets.
- Relentless Work Ethic: Grit, curiosity, and a “GET IT DONE” attitude suited for a fast-paced agency startup.
- Top-Tier Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—you know how to build instant rapport, assess talent, and articulate value.
- Tech & Process Savvy: Hands-on experience with modern ATS systems, CRMs, and proactive sourcing methods (LinkedIn Recruiter, boolean search, cold outreach).
- Adaptable & Coachable: Eager to take feedback directly from the Founder, implement new strategies quickly, and continuously sharpen your skill set.
