Job Summary

  • Under limited supervision and according to the job ticket instructions finish and inspect customer orders
  • to meet the quality objectives of the management system.
  • General Description and responsibilities of Position:
  • Rewinds and inspects printed jobs
  • Reports and segregate any items subject to review, or that do not meet set specification
  • Packages finished products in order to have it ready for shipment. This includes affixing all necessary
  • shipping labels, core tags.
  • Provides feedback on machine performance and make recommendations for improvement(s)
  • Ensure workstation is clean and free of debris
  • Supports Quality process and has the authority to Hold releasing job(s) in event defect has been
  • Noticed
  • Will perform other duties when requested

Previous work experience requirement:

  • Inspector-Finisher is an asset

Education Requirement:

  • High school diploma
  • Graphic art an asset
  • Special Skills requirement:
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify colours
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Position has physical aspect to it; standing for long hours and lifting is required for position

Training requirements:

  • LabelTraxx MIS system (time management module)
  • All applicable SOP’s and Procedures
  • Any other training relevant to position or to meet legal requirement
