Job Brief
Our company is looking for Warehouse Associates, who will play a key part in ensuring product quality, order accuracy, and timely delivery while maintaining food safety and warehouse standards.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack produce orders
- Prepare orders for shipping
- Label boxes for shipping
- Organize and maintain coolers
- Oversee receiving, dock maintenance, and organization
- Organize stock while maintaining FIFO procedures
- Report daily activity results and discrepancies to senior management
- Other duties as assigned
- Always keep work area clean and tidy
- Always wear proper PPE, as required
- Always work safely to Occupational Health & Safety Act standards
- Always work safely and in compliance to GMP rules
Job Terms
- Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 – 44 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need
- Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer
- Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6
- Shift Requirement: Must be available from Sunday to Friday to fit business needs
- Warehouse Day: 9:00am-5:30pm
- Warehouse Night: 4:00pm-12:30am
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour
- Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time
Requirements
- Be able to work in a cold & wet work environment
- Related experience in a warehouse setting is an asset
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to walk, stand, and lift 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge in the food service industry, preferably the produce sector
- Forklift license preferred
