Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need

Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer

Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6

Shift Requirement: Must be flexible for morning or afternoon shifts, Sundays to Fridays

Compensation: $19-$22 per hour

Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time

 Job Brief

Our company is looking for a motivated and experienced Production Lead Hand to support our production team in achieving operational goals.

 Responsibilities

  • Oversee all production retail/bulk lines
  • Check labels
  • Check quality of product
  • Check product dates
  • Set up production lines
  • Oversee change-over to ensure the flow of production lines
  • Communicate work orders from supervisors to other staff
  • Report any equipment issues to the supervisor immediately
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Always keep work area clean and tidy
  • Always wear proper PPE, as required
  • Always work safely to Occupational Health & Safety Act standards
  • Always work safely and in compliance to food safety, GMP, and HACCP rules

 Qualifications

  • Previous related experience
  • Knowledge in the food service industry, preferably the produce sector
