Pathway to Work (PTW) is a free program designed to help newcomers with international skilled trades experience successfully transition into Ontario’s growing manufacturing sector.
By bridging the gap between foreign training and Canadian apprenticeship recognition, Pathway to Work provides tailored support for internationally trained tradespeople pursuing careers as Machinists (429A).
The program equips participants with the knowledge, resources, and connections they need to gain recognition for their skills, access apprenticeship pathways, and build rewarding careers in Canada’s skilled trades.
Over 70% of the time is dedicated to hands-on learning in the skilled trades workshop.
