Join our team as a Wiring Technician / Wireman and play a key role in assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels for industrial refrigeration systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll work closely with engineering and CAD teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of projects. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in panel wiring and testing, strong schematic reading skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
This is a full-time, unionized role based out of Burlington, ON.

What You’ll Do:
- Read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics, wire diagrams, and single-line diagrams.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while handling equipment with care.
- Manage project-specific materials in an orderly fashion.
- Collaborate with engineering and CAD teams to meet project timelines.
- Follow wiring processes and identify errors with precision.
- Apply neat and accurate wiring practices.
- Follow complex instructions and diagrams with minimal supervision.
- Diagnose, test, and analyze performance of components, assemblies, and systems.
- Set up and conduct testing of panels and related equipment.
- Install electrical control systems, automation systems, and equipment including VFDs and PLCs.
- Understand and work with various control systems, including older and utility-style protective relay panels.
What You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical panel wiring and testing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong understanding of control systems and industrial automation.
- Physical ability to perform shop and occasional field work (lifting 25–50 lbs, standing for extended periods).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in a unionized environment.
