Fitter-Welder

Join our team as a Fitter-Welder and play a key role in assembling and welding components for industrial refrigeration systems. In this hands-on role, you’ll work with MIG and TIG welding techniques, interpret blueprints, and ensure quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process. Ideal candidates bring strong welding experience, attention to detail, and thrive in a unionized, team-based environment. 

This is a full-time, unionized role on our Afternoon Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:45pm – 1:15am 
Located at our Burlington, ON facility.

What You’ll Do:

• Use and maintain welding machines and specialty tools.  
• Assemble components for installation.  
• Read and interpret project plans and technical drawings.  
• Perform MIG, TIG, and other welding methods based on project requirements.  
• Identify and correct faults in pipework and weldments.  
• Carry out planned maintenance checks.  
• Operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment as needed. 

What You Bring: 

• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes. 
• Experience examining welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications. 
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment across all organizational levels. 
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Exceptional attention to detail. 
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment.
