Our client, a Peel area, innovative manufacturer of furniture and fixtures, is looking to grow their team of cabinet makers and mill working professionals with the addition of a Cabinet Maker to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• We are looking for someone with a background in cabinetry who is comfortable with starting projects from the analysis stage, and can read and interpret project specifications, understanding and implementing the cuts on the specifications to detail, with superior craftsmanship.
• You have a strong background in cutting and assembling beautiful wood cabinetry and can trim and fit parts to assemble a strong, reinforced project – including the comfortability and mastery of reinforcing joints.
• You are a master at assembling a superior product that meets and exceeds all quality requirements.

Qualification:

• 3-5 years’ experience as Cabinet Maker – it’s a bonus if you have a background in commercial store fixtures.
• You are comfortable with reading, and interpreting shop drawings and cut lists.
• You are able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment and have a expert knowledge of trade power tools.
• You love working with peers collaboratively in a team environment to display your excellence in craftmanship and skills in carpentry.
