Doorways Academic Upgrading
Doorways is a free adult academic upgrading program for literacy and basic skills to prepare individuals for employment and apprenticeship training, mature student’s tests, or other exams.
This includes upgrading math skills, reading and writing, study skills and test-taking, financial literacy and goal setting.
Skilled Trades Assessment Readiness Program
Our STAR Literacy and Basic Skills training is a free program, designed to help aspiring individuals prepare for an apprenticeship assessment.
The training focuses on math and literacy skills in relation to specific trades.
The STAR Program supports learners in achieving their goals of transitioning successfully to employment, post-secondary education, apprenticeships, secondary school, or greater independence.

Better Jobs Ontario Program offered by the Government of Ontario, helps laid-off and eligible workers upgrade their skills and return to the workforce.
