 Hours –
Afternoons

Monday – Thursday 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m, 

Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Rate of pay: $19.20/hr, plus a $0.75 shift premium

 We are currently recruiting for Production Associates on afternoons to work in our Global Headquarters located in Acton, ON, Canada.

 More about the role:

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Production Associate’s responsibilities include working in the packaging and finishing Department and the glove dipping machine.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper product is used to fulfil order  (quantity, size, product code)
  • Perform finishing procedures (sewing, labeling, etc.) as needed on specific orders
  • Pack orders in boxes, vend-pack bags, special shipments as necessary
  • Part of the chemical mixture process – set up and clean up
  • Putting gloves on and off both the dipping machine
  • Wear proper PPE and follow all Health & Safety procedures
  • Quality inspection of product throughout production process
  • General knowledge of the machine functions to identify potential operation issues
  • Record keeping of machine runs and defects
  • Support production in other areas as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one (1) year of previous production in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Industrial sewing experience would be considered an asset
  • Team Player
  • Basic math skills required to ensure order accuracy (testing done during interview)
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. routinely
  • Position requires capability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive high arm movements and bending
  • Successful candidates need to be comfortable in warm working conditions
  • Ability to work outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends as required is considered an asset
  • Ability to work safely in following all procedures including chemicals procedures
