Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual in a key role as Program Manager, who will be responsible for coordinating all program activities. As part of the Management Team, the Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director to oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation, of all programs and services. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring excellence in our service delivery and in promoting the growth of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Christian values, experience working with at-risk youth, excellent communication skills, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.

Responsibilities:

1. Program Oversight:

● Provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of Oasis Youth Care Programs.
● Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective program delivery.
● Monitor program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness, making necessary adjustments

to meet the needs of at-risk youth.

2. Team Leadership and Management:

● Recruit, train, and supervise frontline program staff, ensuring a supportive and empowering work environment.
● Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability among team members.
● Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support to staff.

3. Client Services:

● Oversee the intake process for at-risk youth entering the housing program, ensuring their needs are assessed and addressed appropriately.
● Provide Case Management and develop individualized service plans in collaboration with clients and provide ongoing support and guidance throughout their participation in the program.
● Coordinate with external agencies and service providers to ensure comprehensive support for youth in areas such as education, healthcare, and employment.

4. Community Engagement:

● Cultivate and maintain partnerships with government, local organizations, churches, volunteers, and  community stakeholders to enhance program resources and support.
● Represent Oasis Youth Care Programs at community events, meetings, and conferences to raise awareness and advocate for the needs of at-risk youth.

5. Financial Management:

● Develop and manage program budgets in collaboration with the executive team, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
● Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts to sustain and expand program initiatives.
 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, preferably in the non-profit sector with a focus on youth services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to find solutions, evaluate options, and expedite decisions.
- Collaborative leader, with ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with youth, staff, community partners, funders, volunteers, and other stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of best practices in youth development, trauma-informed care, and harm reduction strategies.
- Experience managing program budgets and resources effectively
- Satisfactory criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector search.
