Accountabilities 
  • Communicate regularly with customers to gather information related to technical issues;
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical/air components used on cranes;
  • Perform preventative scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure safe and proper working order of cranes ;
  • Review technical inquiries of customers to recommend possible solutions related to the operation or maintenance;
  • Answer service calls;
  • Perform cold calling to attract new customers
  • Being Proactive & proposing good technical solutions to increase customer equipment durability,
  • Reliability, productivity & safety
  • Maintain Inventory
Education & experience
  • Electromechanical Engineering Technician program or equivalent degree;Electrical Licence such as 442A,
  • Journeyman Electrician or Red seal;
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical skills;
  • At least 3 years of related work experience;
  • Driver license G
  • Welding experience, an asset
Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to solve technical problems
  • Ability to communicate issues to customers
  • Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
  • High degree of initiative and flexibility
  • Ability to work variable hours, overtime, and/or "on call" as needed
  • Ability to work autonomously & within a team environment at all times.
