Full Job Description:

EMI is looking for a motivated individual with an electronics certificate or diploma. Responsibilities include in-house and on-site calibration and repair of audiometric equipment, as well as customer support. EMI provides full training.

On average, up to 50% of time out of office, including overnight trips.

Primary Responsibilities

1) Calibration, troubleshooting and repair of medical equipment, in-house and at customer locations
2) Answering technical questions and troubleshooting with customers over the phone and in person
3) Providing customers with pricing and technical information
4) Invoicing for work performed, using Business Vision software
5) Manage travel itineraries (scheduling appointments, air, hotel, car rentals), across Canada


  • Recent Electronics certificate or diploma or multiyear experience servicing audiometric equipment
  • Full G driver’s license
  • At least 2 years full time work experience
  • At least 1 year electronics repair experience
  • Willing to travel (flying, driving)
  • Computer literate (word processing, spreadsheets)
  • Willingness to learn
  • Bondable
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes
