What Does a 310T Truck and Coach Technician Do?
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the 310T Truck and Coach Technician will ensure all routine and non routine vehicle and equipment inspections, repairs and maintenance are successfully completed. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, effective, organized, and professional performance to ensure operations surpasses all expectations. The 310T Truck and Coach Technician plays an integral role in The Miller Group’s vision of Building Greatness with its employees and working together to maintain a safe workspace in respect to our Living Goal Zero initiative.

As a 310T Truck and Coach Technician, You Will:
  • Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants in compliance with Miller Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and ensure contractual HSE obligation for the staff and public are met
  • Service company vehicles/equipment, including preventative/predictive maintenance to prevent any incidents that could lead to harm
  • Repair light vehicles, heavy trucks and heavy equipment including hydraulics, electrical and heavy power train
  • Daily completion of MTO records and other documentation on trucks
  • General shop maintenance / Assist in decision making for any outside repairs to equipment, and be accountable all actions
  • Perform service calls and emergency on-road/off-site repairs
  • Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
  • 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence (consideration for a 310S License or a 310T Apprentice)
  • DZ Licence, would be an asset
  • Valid G license required
  • Roadside service experience, an asset
  • Ability to diagnose and rectify faults and diagnostic software experience, an asset
  • Experience in repairing hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Ability to be on call during the winter months
  • Must possess own set of tools
  • Proven technical knowledge
  • Positive attitude, disciplined work ethic, good communication skills and a willingness to take on new challenges and meet deadlines
Available to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
